Glennis Aircraft

The much anticipated addition to the Glennis line of 7 1/2", 8", 8 1/2" and 9 inch diameter wheels has arrived.

The new tooling will cover most Warbird wheels, including Bombers, such as the 9 inch B-17 shown here.

Orders placed now will have a preliminary delivery in early summer. As with all Glennis wheels, they will be detailed replicas of the full size aircraft, and have options for the various tread styles, and have optional brake systems.

Included in the initial release will be the Don Smith Plans 1/4 scale P-47 8 3/8" x 2 1/4" Jug wheels in both popular versions. Call for info on the addition of other aircraft.

'ARF' wheel/brake development

Popularity of "ARF" models has Glennis in overtime keeping up with new sizes / styles and aircraft / kits.

As our items are produced in the U.S, and vary greatly in scope, some manufacturing time can be expected.

We are currently working on an 'on the shelf' stock of the most popular ARF kits, such as the Top Flite B-25 rollers shown above.

If you ARF kit needs a desperate update in the wheel/brake area, give us a call for the status of their development and manufacture.

Large "custom" wheels

Glennis will still do custom wheels in the new sizes such as these 7 1/2" C-46 shoes.
